Christmas

On Christmas we got our first photo worthy dusting of Snow. SADLY a few years ago, Brett had sold the big snowblower his dad gave him in exchange for some manual labor... because we lived in a Condo and he wanted to buy something that could use ammo. LUCKILY we just inherited a snowblower from Brett’s grandpa. UNFORTUNATELY, however, Brett hadn’t looked at it closely yet and didn’t have the right kind of fuel for a 2-something-something engine snowblower (that’s the technical term for it).

Silly Brett
Late Christmas Eve when the boys were in bed (so, like 7:30pm), I brought our Christmas Tree in from the porch (where I was keeping it safe from the boys) and the presents up from the basement where I was sure that the boys wouldn’t unwrap anything. Naturally, Cuddles Knevel proved that Unwrapping is not yet a temptation.
In true brotherly form, Linus Benedictus followed his bro up the mountain.

The boys were pretty happy with the gift that mommy/Grandma D/Great Grandpa T/Great Grandma N bought for Daddy

Then again, they were pretty happy with their own toys too. I don’t think there was a single one they didn’t like.
To this day, Linus still pushes the wood play center on the side before playing with it... which often means climbing on it

Briar doesn’t mind when Linus knocks it over though, because it means that she can finally reach the fun stuff

Though she is plenty happy with her own  toys too.

Naturally, Christmas means daddy got to play some Lego’s too.

Really cute pictures! Looks like the boys and Briar had fun!

Poor Brett not getting the snow blower working! You guys have a large swathe of sidewalks to plow too, but at least it hasn't snowed a lot this year :)

haha how lucky to get the presents all out at 7:30PM Christmas Eve for soon it will be in the wee hours of the morning as my parents had to do. :)
