From Momma's garden... I took a detour from my work yesterday for about an hour. This was the starting point of the detour.



I feel like I'm making outdated framed decour. Or a generic greating card. hmmmm. at least it was fun.

I've been in utah since May 2nd.
We will be driving back to California on the 19th (two days)
We will have to be packed up and back in Utah mid June so B can take some classes.

That leaves less than a month to:
Pack
Use my magic mountain passes to my fullest ability because Brett was either to buisy to go, and the one day we went he got bored after 2 hours.
Practice my motorcycle skills ('cause it is going to take more than 2 30 min sessions to get my license)
Catch up at work
get ahead at work
Find either a house to buy, or an apt. to rent.


Since we've been here
B has set up his server at a colocation center
fixed some bugs
Trained BYU on his software, for their trial period
driven by 62 houses (okay, like 6 or so were town homes)
been inside something like 5 of them
(tomorrow some one shold be letting us into a handful of SLC ones)
I've only shot maybe 2/3 of the mag... and I am supposed to have it all color corrected and build the documents by wednesday
I've Not eaten very well.
Polo has become rather accustomed to Car rides
Polo has not vomited in long car rides (I gave him dramamine for the 11 hour drive though)
Polo has learned he can actually lay down and rest in car rides
Polo has started to learn to stick his head out the window.
Polo has started sleeping under our bed/futon
Polo has stopped following us from room to room.
I played Acquire twice, Mille Bourne once, Pandemic once, and someting called something like snortella once
I've Done Wii fit only like twice because everyone is always playing stupid zelda
I learned to sort of steer mario cart on the wii... no thanks to the useless wheel.
I developed a spreadsheet for organizing data for each Mls we've driven by, or been in so I can compare notes on them
I Figured out how to efficiently drive by houses using snapshots of google map I can look at while driving wiathout internet
I learned that saving google maps gives you a differnet format that is stupid and you might as well just make a new map.
I am still debating an older house in a more stable demand area to a nicer bigger newer one in an area they are constantly building cheep new things to compete with (resell in a few years)
I Started reading the 3rd twilight (cause I didn't have to buy it, borrowed it.) Decided it is better than the second, but still go days without reading it.
I Visited a few people
realized that old provo houses have really, really, small rooms... like the size of a queen bed.
I've Gotten my nephew to remember my name
Decided I like jumping on the trampoline... and that it is actually quite a cardio work out.
Had a "cleared" paycheck bounce, thus causing me to overdraft, and leaving my bank account at 0. I'm not used to that
Spent an hour on the phone with my bank to get rid of only 37 dollars in fines.
Opened up a 2nd bank acount somewher else because my paychecks will apparently only clear if I cash them at a bank my employer does not use.
Found out my credit score is hella awesome.

I have not
visited my beloved chocolate factory.
visited a few of the people I should have (but hey, we'll be back in a month, right?)
been super productive
found a place to live
blogged
eaten a single utah truffle
checked my email regularly.
done any laundry (brett did it on mother's day, then I refused to help him fold it because it was mother's day... actually, this is maybe only the second time he's done it all on his own without being begged or heck, even asked)
developed a desire to play zelda.
